LashMi LLC respects intellectual property rights and expects visitors, customers, and users of LashMi products and resources to do the same.

This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy explains the ownership and permitted use of content made available through LashMi, the treatment of third-party intellectual property, and how copyright or intellectual-property concerns may be reported.

This policy should be read together with the LashMi Terms & Conditions, including the digital-product licensing provisions contained within those Terms.

1. LashMi Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated or identified as third-party material, original content created and owned by LashMi LLC may include:

Website copy and written content
Original photographs and graphics
LashMi branding and design elements
Digital products
Client documentation systems
Forms and templates
Operational frameworks
Educational resources
Guides and checklists
Product inserts
Retention protocols
Business resources
Original downloadable materials
Other original LashMi-created content

LashMi's ownership of original material does not depend upon every individual work being separately identified on the website.

Nothing in this policy represents that LashMi holds a federal copyright or trademark registration for material that has not been federally registered.

2. Copyright

Original LashMi content may be protected by applicable United States copyright law and other intellectual-property laws.

Unless expressly permitted by LashMi or applicable law, LashMi-created copyrighted material may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, sold, commercially exploited, or used to create unauthorized derivative commercial materials.

Limited personal viewing of publicly available website content does not grant ownership or broader rights to reproduce or commercially use that content.

Purchasing a LashMi product does not transfer copyright ownership unless LashMi expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

3. LashMi Name, Branding & Trade Identity

LashMi LLC operates under the LashMi name and associated business branding.

The LashMi name, logos, visual branding, trade identity, and other source-identifying materials may be protected by applicable state, common-law, or other trademark and unfair-competition principles where applicable.

Nothing on this website grants permission to use LashMi branding in a way that falsely suggests:

Affiliation with LashMi
Sponsorship by LashMi
Endorsement by LashMi
Authorization from LashMi
Ownership of LashMi products or resources
An official distributor, partnership, or business relationship that does not exist

LashMi does not represent through this policy that the LashMi name or branding is federally registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office unless such registration is obtained and expressly identified in the future.

4. Digital Products & Licensed Use

LashMi digital products are licensed for use, not sold as intellectual property.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular product, purchasing a LashMi digital product grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, single-business-use license as described more fully in the LashMi Terms & Conditions.

Authorized purchasers may use purchased materials within the purchasing business and customize designated business identifiers or placeholders where the product is expressly designed for that purpose.

Purchase does not transfer:

Copyright
Intellectual-property ownership
Resale rights
Redistribution rights
Publication rights
Sublicensing rights

5. Prohibited Use of LashMi Digital Materials

Unless LashMi gives express written permission, LashMi digital materials may not be:

Resold
Redistributed
Shared with another independent artist or business
Given away as a free resource
Uploaded to shared resource libraries for unauthorized use
Added to courses, memberships, mentorships, training programs, or educational libraries for redistribution
Sold through template marketplaces or other platforms
Repackaged as another person's commercial product
Published publicly in whole or substantial part
Used to create substantially similar competing resources for resale or redistribution
Presented as another person's original proprietary work

Authorized use by staff working within the purchasing business does not give those individuals an independent license to retain, reproduce, distribute, or use the materials for another business.

6. Client-Facing Materials

Certain LashMi digital products are specifically designed to become part of a purchaser's client-facing business operations.

Where expressly intended by the product, authorized purchasers may:

Add their own business identifiers to designated areas
Provide intake forms to their own clients
Provide consent documents to their own clients
Use policies and client-facing information within their own business
Collect completed versions of authorized client documents
Incorporate authorized forms into the purchasing business's normal onboarding process

This permitted client-facing use does not authorize resale, redistribution, publication as a template, or sharing of the underlying editable system with another business.

7. Third-Party Intellectual Property

The LashMi website may display or reference products, names, trademarks, logos, photographs, descriptions, or other materials belonging to third parties.

All third-party intellectual property remains the property of its respective owner.

Use or reference of third-party intellectual property by LashMi does not transfer ownership to LashMi or to LashMi customers.

8. LashGod Intellectual Property

LashMi is a U.S. distributor of LashGod professional lash products.

LashGod product names, trademarks, logos, product packaging, proprietary product information, and other LashGod intellectual property remain the property of their applicable rights holder(s).

LashMi's authorized sale or distribution of LashGod products does not constitute ownership of the LashGod brand or its intellectual property.

Customers purchasing LashGod products through LashMi receive the physical products purchased but do not acquire intellectual-property rights in LashGod branding, packaging, product materials, or other proprietary content.

9. Product Images & Manufacturer Materials

Certain product photographs, descriptions, specifications, instructions, graphics, or promotional materials appearing on LashMi's website may originate from or be provided by manufacturers, distributors, licensors, or other authorized sources.

Such materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

LashMi claims ownership only over original LashMi-created content or rights lawfully owned or assigned to LashMi.

10. Reporting Copyright or Intellectual-Property Concerns

If you believe content appearing on the LashMi website infringes copyright or another intellectual-property right that you own or are authorized to represent, please contact:

To help LashMi evaluate the concern, your notice should provide:

Your name and contact information.
Identification of the copyrighted or other protected work you believe is being infringed.
Identification and location of the LashMi website content you believe infringes that work, including the applicable page or URL when available.
A description of your ownership or authority to act for the rights holder.
A statement explaining why you believe the disputed use is unauthorized.
Any supporting information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
Your physical or electronic signature.

For copyright complaints intended to satisfy the notice requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the notice should also include statements that:

You have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

The information provided in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

11. LashMi's Response to Infringement Reports

LashMi takes legitimate intellectual-property concerns seriously.

After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, LashMi may:

Review the identified material
Request additional information
Contact the person or entity responsible for the material when appropriate
Remove or disable access to disputed content when appropriate
Restore or modify content when a complaint is resolved or determined to be unsupported
Take other reasonable action consistent with applicable law
Submitting a complaint does not guarantee removal of material.

LashMi may decline to act on notices that do not provide enough information to identify the work, locate the allegedly infringing material, establish the complaining party's authority, or reasonably evaluate the claim.

12. False or Misleading Claims

Please do not knowingly submit false, fraudulent, or materially misleading copyright or intellectual-property complaints.

A person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may have liability under applicable law.

If you are uncertain whether a particular use is legally authorized, including whether an exception or limitation to copyright may apply, you should consider consulting qualified legal counsel before submitting a formal infringement notice.

13. Unauthorized Use of LashMi Materials

If LashMi reasonably believes its original materials or licensed digital products have been copied, shared, resold, distributed, or otherwise used outside the applicable license, LashMi may take appropriate action consistent with its Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

Contacting the responsible person or business
Requesting removal of unauthorized material
Terminating or restricting digital access where permitted
Revoking applicable license rights for material misuse where permitted under the governing license
Sending infringement notices to platforms or service providers
Pursuing other remedies available under applicable law

Nothing in this policy guarantees that LashMi will pursue every suspected infringement.

14. No Transfer of Rights

Accessing the LashMi website, purchasing physical products, downloading digital resources, or interacting with LashMi does not grant ownership of LashMi intellectual property except for the limited rights expressly provided in the applicable product license or written agreement.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by LashMi LLC or the applicable third-party rights holder.

15. Relationship to the DMCA

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act contains procedures and protections applicable to certain online service providers and copyright infringement matters.

LashMi currently provides the copyright-reporting process described in this policy.

The contact information above should not be interpreted as a representation that LashMi LLC or the identified contact has been separately registered as a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office unless and until such federal designation has been completed.

If LashMi later registers a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, this policy may be updated to provide the applicable designated-agent information.

16. Changes to This Policy

LashMi may update this Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy periodically to reflect changes in:

Products
Digital resources
Website functionality
Intellectual-property practices
Business operations
Applicable legal requirements

Updates become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
